The Recon series of Pan & Tilt Positioners provide unparalleled performance in all weather conditions and environments. The lightweight portable Recon is capable of being carried, installed, and operated by a single operator or small team. A variety of payloads and cameras can be used with the Recon Positioner.

Far Sight, On Site
IEC’s Recon family of Man-Portable Detection Systems (MPDS) provides day or night, wide-area surveillance capabilities that can be deployed quickly by highly mobile forces, even in hostile environments. One person can carry a complete Recon system in a single backpack. With minimal training, an operator can have a Recon system up and running within 10 minutes.
Each Recon system complements portable, electronically steered radar with lightweight thermal and visual imagers. The radar continuously monitors the area of interest and performs initial detection of targets. Once a target is detected, the system sends the location to both operator and imagers, allowing automated or manual tracking so the operator can identify and classify the target.
