Site Security

Once They’re Inside, It’s Too Late

Physical security is equally crucial as cybersecurity. Both rely on access control to restrict unauthorized access to areas or assets and require surveillance to detect potential threats before they occur.

While basic CCTV systems may suffice for some facilities, high-risk sites demand more advanced security measures. As one example, a study found that at least $300 million of heavy construction equipment is stolen each year from work sites. This figure does not include costs resulting from break-in damage or stolen building materials and tools.

Prevent Intrusions with Enhanced Surveillance

IEC’s enhanced, multispectral imaging technology detects intruders at a distance, before they have a chance to find blind spots or gaps in existing coverage. Our IntrudIR Alert software provides a Common Operating Picture (COP) across all connected sensors. For example, thermal and visual cameras can slew automatically to the location of a tripped vibration sensor, while simultaneously alerting security personnel. This operator-centered design philosophy minimizes user fatigue and the risk of missing a potential threat.

Deterrence with Visual and Audible Alerts

IEC systems do more than just monitor—they actively deter intruders. Our Banshee system can be configured with a range of deterrents, such as visual and audible alarms, to immobilize intruders while security teams respond.

Mobile Surveillance

Built To Last

A surveillance system is useful only when it’s working. IEC’s hardware and software are built to withstand the harshest environments. Tested in real-world conditions, our systems provide reliable, long-term performance, ensuring that your site stays secure without downtime.
